Hampstead Information

Hampstead, originally settled as a wagon stop known as “Spring Garden,” incorporated in 1888 and was named after the town in England. It’s a picturesque, family-oriented small town, retaining much of its old fashioned charm. The historic Hampstead School, built in 1919 in the tudor revival style, now lovingly renovated to serve as a retirement community, is one such example of how the town has kept its past alive while moving into the future.
