Perhaps one of the greatest innovations made by man was his decision to begin to write down his thoughts. Once pen was put to paper everything changed, and while it may have taken a while for the printing press and mass distribution to come into play, once they did we all had the gift of knowledge at our fingertips.

Along with these innovations came the proliferation of libraries. A library is a magical place where one can conduct research, spend great times with friends, or find that special book. Carroll County has one of the best library systems in the state, and in addition to the traditional library services, they also host a number of events. We wanted to take some time today to highlight some of these events.
