Independence Day is almost here, and we’re ready to celebrate! It’s been over 240 years since our founding father’s earned their independence from Great Britain, and our country has only grown from there.

One way we celebrate our independence is by lighting up the sky. All through the night America’s skies will be filled with blasts of all different colors as fireworks are set off. Here in Carroll County we’re just as patriotic as anyone in America, and the county will be filled with fireworks. We wanted to take some time today to highlight some of this year’s best fireworks spots.

The Carroll County Farm Museum

The Farm Museum will be putting on quite the spectacle this year as they plan to light up the entire sky. Gates will open up at 3pm and the fireworks will start at 9:30pm. There will also be live music provided by the band Park Avenue, and food vendors. For the kids there will be Farm Museum activities and an inflatable bounce-house.

Please remember that roads accessing the Farm Museum will be closed at 8:30 p.m. due to public safety concerns. You will…

The Farm Museum is located at 500 S Center St Westminster, Maryland 21157-5664.

Mount Airy Fireworks

For the seventh year in a row now, Mt. Airy will be hosting a fireworks event. This year it will be at the Mount Airy fire company’s carnival grounds (1008 Twin Arch Road).

Gates will open at 4pm and there will be live music, cornhole, and patriotic face-painting starting at 5pm. The fireworks will start after it gets dark.
