Anyone looking for some fun? We are super excited and this is shaping up to be one of the best festivals of the year. You can expect a lot, and we wanted to lay out a bit of what you can expect.

The Art Market

The art market will be featuring over 60 artist vendors. They will be selling hand-made and unique goods including paintings, prints, photography, stained glass, sculptures, jewelry, and much more!

Join Us and Paint Our Sculpture

The Mt. Airy Arts Alliance has been awarded a grant from the Maryland State Arts Council to create a temporary public art piece. You can come out and help us make our sculpture! Members of the community are being asked to help paint the sculpture, it will later be lit on Main Street.

Mount Airy Arts Festival

We mentioned that you would be ready for a luau after the Aloha Boys, well come to the Little Luau! While it’s geared towards children, there’s something for everyone. There will be a bubble performance, the beach, the Carroll County Public Libraries’ Bookmobile, a photo booth, and much more.

Something to Eat

You’re going to want to come with an empty stomach. Local food trucks will be coming from across the state to serve up their tasty delicacies. The food providers are:

  • Wanderly Wagon: They serve gourmet beef hot dogs along with a variety of toppings, salads, and shaved ice.
  • Taco Bar: They sell tacos of course!
  • Lemon Squeezers: Fresh and sweet lemonade, what more could you ask for? They’re also known for their fried oreos and funnel cakes.
  • Mike’s Gelato: Summer’s starting to heat up, why not grab some gelato to cool off?

There will also be a beer and wine tent.

Foodtruckers be busy, sometimes forget, but today I was clever enough to grab a growler of this saison at Mad Science…
