Ever speculated about a snow day or delay the night before school? Well, you’re not alone. Carroll County MD School Predictions, an unofficial Facebook page, does just that every time some inclement weather begins making its way toward the county.
“Look no further than here for your Carroll County School predictions,” its About section reads.
Carroll County Public Schools makes official announcements via local news networks and social media no later than 6 a.m., but the predictions page begins their work much sooner than that.
The page often posts their predictions based on current and expected weather conditions complete with the percentage chances of delays and closures and plenty of time to plan, should their predictions hold true.

History of the Page
The page first posted on Jan. 20, 2015 and stayed quite busy during that first winter. Posts were steady and consistent, much like the snow, through mid-March. Then the weather took a break and so did the page until both returned the next January.
