Whether you’re a Monopoly master or you love slaying dragons, tabletop gaming is a great past time for people of all ages and interests. However, the problem with playing these games is often finding the people to play them with.

Thankfully, there are quite a few places and groups that may hold the answer for your tabletop gaming needs. Let’s take a look at some now!

Westminster Board Games Meetup

If you’ve never been to Meetup.com, then you’re missing out on a ton of opportunities to meet local people who share your interests. There are meet ups of all kinds in Westminster, Manchester, Taneytown, and beyond. It all depends on what you’re looking for.

If you’re seeking tabletop games, then you’re in luck. There is a small group of about 135 members who meet once a month to play games. The members are pretty mixed in terms of age and experience, so check it out and make a friend!

You can join the group by following this link. Their next meet up is September 23rd. Some of the games that they will have include Pictionary, Unstable Unicorns, Exploding Kittens, Apples to Apples, Zombie Dice, and Bears Vs. Babies.

If any of these games seem unfamiliar to you, that’s great! This is your chance to try them. Exploding kittens in particular is a whole lot of fun. It’s super quick and easy to learn, too.

Board Games at Go! Calendars, Games & Toys

You can’t play a bunch of board games without having a bunch of awesome board games in your collection. Though meetups and groups will often have their own to share with you, bringing your own is always a good time.

Go! Calendars Games & Toys is located within the TownMall of Westminster. They have all kinds of board games to meet the needs of the casual or the hardcore. Check them out and see if there’s one that strikes your fancy.

Get Your RPG on at Gotham Comics

If you’re looking for Dungeons & Dragons supplies, then you’ll be able to find what you’re looking for at Gotham Comics. They have a ton of Magic the Gathering events and cards for sale as well. Out of the many shops we’ve seen, they have some of the most beautiful polyhedral dice we’ve ever seen in a store.

They have events from time to time as well if you’re looking to play with some local enthusiasts. Check out their event calendar on their website.
