There are several possible tours you can take, so let’s go into them with some details.

Carroll County, MD : Roads to Gettysburg

If you’d like an outline for all of Carroll County’s Civil War history, then this is the tour for you.

Throughout this tour, you will travel across the entire county, following troop movements, visiting significant locations, and understanding Carroll County’s role in the battle of Gettysburg.

Carroll County MD CIvil War Trail

The tour covers the entirety of the county, and is a driving tour.

Gettysburg: Invasion and Retreat

This tour takes a bit more of a wider approach than the Roads to Gettysburg tour, and follows soldiers movements towards Gettysburg.

Carroll County Civil War

Just like the Roads to Gettysburg tour, this is a driving tour, saving you a ton of walking.

Corbit’s Charge

Being a bit different than the other two tours, this one is focused on a specific event in Westminster, MD and is a walking tour.

Crobits Charge Westminster Maryland

Mostly following along Westminster’s Main Street, the tour tells the story of Captain Charles Corbit and his heroic charge against Confederate general, J.E.B. Stuart.
