Do you like relaxing with a glass of wine? Do you enjoy kicking back to some reggae music? Early October is your time to shine. Linganore Winecellars is hosting a reggae and wine festival on October 6th and 7th from 10am to 6pm. It’s time for the second #ReggaeWineFest of the year!
Two Chances to Get Your Wine and Raggae on at Linganore
If you’re looking forward to some fine island sounds in October, you’ll be happy to know that there is another chance to enjoy all the fun of the Reggae Wine Fest in July. This past year’s July event was awesome even if there was a little rain. A little water didn’t stop these party people from having a great time!
It’s All About That Fresh Sound
No music festival is complete without awesome bands and this October’s lineup is looking pretty lit. The bands coming to bring you the jams are as follows:
- Monsoon & STORM
- Sprang International
- Image Band
- Kurlou Reggae Allsters
- Jah Works
What Can You Expect at the Festival?
Along with some fantastic music, you can also enjoy the tastes of 19 different wines and/or craft beers, a souvenir wine glass, and a guided winery tour. You’ll also be able to check out a ton of international crafts and food vendors so that you can engage all of your senses in the flavors of the islands.
You’re welcome to find food, non-alcoholic beverages, and coolers into the festival with you, but please be advised that your coolers will be searched before you can come into the festival. Blankets and chairs to sit on are also welcome, if you’d like.
However, no pets are allowed at the festival. Tragic, but important for the safety of the attendees as well as the pets themselves. If you want to bring your dog out to Linganore, mark your calendars for September 9th for K9s in the Vines. You can grab a ticket for the event here.
There’s So Much Going on at Linganore!
Even if you can’t make it to the Reggae Wine Festival, you can still check out one of the other events at the winery. For a complete list of what’s coming up, click here to check out their events page.
In November, you can check out the Run Through the Grapevine. This will be their 25th annual 8k through the grounds of the winery. Definitely worth checking out.
